As it celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, ACTIA Telematics Services (ATS), a subsidiary of ACTIA Group, announces a change in general management, against a backdrop of accelerating uses related to data and connected vehicles. This marks a new milestone in the development of the Group’s Belgian subsidiary, based in Namur.
Founder of ATS, Arnaud STORDER hands over general management to Kader YILDIZ, appointed as the new CEO of ACTIA Telematics Services. His appointment reflects a strategy of continuity combined with a forward-looking vision, with a clear ambition: to place the richness of field data at the very heart of customers’ operations, in an environment where mastering operational information has become a central lever for steering, optimization and decision-making.
“Our ambition is clear: to make field data a concrete performance driver for companies with distributed operations,”
explains Kader YILDIZ, new CEO of ACTIA Telematics Services.
In this context, ATS deploys a structured offering built around concrete solutions such as Telefleet and IoTrack, complemented by custom developments and API integrations with customers’ business software, in order to sustainably support companies with distributed activities in their digital and operational transformation.
A journey built on field data
ACTIA Telematics Services was founded on a distinctive positioning: supporting companies in collecting, mastering and leveraging data from field operations, where business processes are distributed, mobile and remote from office environments. Since its creation, the company has established itself as a reference player in managing and structuring complex operational data, serving activity management, business process optimization and decision support. Vehicles, equipment and mobile teams lie at the heart of the use cases addressed by its fleet management and geolocation solutions, Telefleet and IoTrack. These solutions target organizations whose performance strongly depends on managing mobile assets and on their ability to turn heterogeneous and strategic field data into concrete performance levers.
ACTIA Telematics Services within the ACTIA Group: strong industrial foundations
Integrated into the ACTIA Group for eight years, ACTIA Telematics Services now benefits from the strength of an international industrial group. A long-standing expert in the design, manufacturing and operation of embedded electronic systems for demanding industrial sectors, ACTIA celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and enjoys global recognition for its technological expertise.
ACTIA Telematics Services fully shares the Group’s core fundamentals: a strong culture of innovation, a resolutely customer-centric approach, and a long-term partnership mindset. While leveraging ACTIA’s international mid-cap profile and technological capabilities, ATS has preserved its own DNA: close alignment with business use cases, agility, and commitment alongside its customers, to co-build solutions that create tangible operational value.

Interview with Kader YILDIZ: vision, priorities and group dynamics
You are taking over leadership of ACTIA Telematics Services at a key moment in its history. How do you approach this step?
This appointment is прежде all about continuity. ATS has a solid foundation built on strong business expertise and a deep understanding of field use cases. The challenge is to build on this legacy while guiding the company into a new development phase, marked by accelerating data usage and digital tools.
Your background is deeply rooted in vehicles and fleet management. How does this shape your vision?
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in environments where vehicles are central to operations: distribution, services and industry. This provides concrete insight into fleet managers’ operational constraints, the diversity of their needs, and the importance of reliable, actionable and contextualized information. Data is only useful when it is directly connected to field realities.
You combine technical and business expertise. How does this influence your approach to innovation?
This dual culture bridges what is technologically possible with what is truly relevant for users. Innovation must not be abstract: it must improve processes, support decision-making or optimize organizations. Technology and data are tools, serving clearly defined business objectives.
Field data is central to ATS’s positioning. Why is it strategic today?
Field data is both an operational support tool and a decision-making asset. Companies must manage increasingly complex, distributed operations under strong economic, environmental and regulatory pressures. Access to reliable, structured and historical data not only optimizes day-to-day operations, but also informs strategic decisions. Today, executives want to precisely understand fleet costs, analyze consumption, measure CO₂ emissions, and rely on objective indicators to assess vehicle electrification eligibility based on quantified, factual criteria. Data thus becomes a decision foundation, serving both economic performance and the energy transition. Beyond these aspects, a company’s fleet also conveys image and reputation. Choices around vehicles, usage and powertrains directly impact corporate communication and credibility. ATS positions itself at the intersection of these operational, decision-making and brand dimensions.
What are your short- and mid-term priorities for ACTIA Telematics Services?
Our priority is to continue strengthening customer value by placing data richness at the heart of their operations, while leveraging the ACTIA Group’s industrial and technological strength. This means further developing reliable, scalable solutions adapted to ever more demanding field use cases.
ATS now operates within the ACTIA Group. How does this group dynamic translate in practice?
ATS’s integration into the ACTIA Group fully aligns with the Group’s strategy to strengthen its offering in connected mobility markets. It combines ATS’s historical software expertise with ACTIA’s industrial strength and international reach, enriching the Group’s telematics portfolio and addressing broader professional vehicle and multi-market challenges. In concrete terms, this dynamic relies on cross-entity collaboration, shared competencies and collective feedback. It accelerates new feature development, facilitates access to major OEM customers, multi-market operators and strategic mobility partners, and enables a global approach to complex challenges around connected vehicles, data and field use cases. ATS is fully embedded in this collective ecosystem, contributing its deep understanding of operational professions and vehicle data to deliver increasingly coherent, integrated and value-creating solutions for customers.
