The ACTIA Group, an internationally recognized player in the design of electronic systems for the mobility sector, announces the creation of ACTIA Technologies Canada, a new subsidiary based in Montreal. This entity will be dedicated to engineering and customer support for all of the Group’s railway activities. It represents a key milestone to support the development of these activities in North America in partnership with major manufacturers and operators in the sector.
Local railway expertise in coordination with the ACTIA Group
ACTIA Technologies Canada brings together a team of approximately 20 specialists with expertise in engineering, customer support, and after-sales services. These professionals provide advanced knowledge covering the various railway competencies of the ACTIA Group.
The ACTIA Technologies Canada team will facilitate the deployment of the Group’s product lines, particularly in the areas of passenger information systems (PACIS), video surveillance (CCTV & REARVIEW), railway infrastructure solutions (WAYSIDE), and associated engineering services. The subsidiary will work closely with other Group entities already specialized in railway solutions to ensure hands-on operational support for projects.
Sylvain Léon, CEO of ACTIA Systems and ACTIA Railway, is responsible for leading this entity, ensuring strategic and operational alignment with the Group’s railway initiatives.
