ACTIA has chosen the CONEXPO-CON/AGG trade show, a major event for professionals of the construction industries, to present its latest telematics platform dedicated to harsh environments: the Ruggedized Telematics Gateway Unit. You can find out more about the TGU-R Access in our booth @ ConExpo (booth# B92920) in Las Vegas from 7 to 11 March, 2017.

This off-the-shelf product, is a culmination of ACTIA's 30 years of experience in industrial and light vehicle telematics. It is customizable and modular and is able to adapt to all existing back-office and mobile applications (tablets, PCs and smartphones).

The TGU-R Access exceeds market expectations both in terms of communication channels (USB, CAN, LIN and ETHERNET) and connectivity (2G/3G/4G LTE, WiFi and Bluetooth).

It can also integrate advanced diagnostics features locally or remotely, which harnesses another area of the Group's historic know-how.

Along with its powerful microprocessor, the TGU-R Access is delivered with a Linux operating system and a software development kit (SDK), enabling every customer to quickly develop complex applications. Short training in addition to dedicated technical support can be provided until the telematics solution is integrated in the vehicle architecture.

The TGU-R Access is an essential component for performing multiple functions, including:

• Optimizing productivity through real-time fleet and asset management.
• Effectively improving maintenance monitoring with advanced remote diagnostics.
• Protecting fleet via the detection of movement even when the machine is stopped, along with an automatic detection possibility when a machine is used outside its area and defined time period.
