"Vehicle ITC Arena", a Swedish organisation for cooperation between car manufacturers and systems and software equipment manufacturers, has launched the "Born to Drive" project. Its aim is to optimise the logistics route of a new vehicle by increasing its level of automation. From the time the car it leaves the assembly line to the time it leaves the production site, "Born to Drive", which associates "Time to Market", safety and logistics reliability objectives, is focused on the autonomy potential for vehicles from Volvo Cars, the manufacturer associated with the project. This potential is linked to the particularly effective electronics and telematics equipment of the Swedish brand's various models. ACTIA is involved though its Swedish subsidiary, ACTIA Nordic, a partner to Volvo Cars, and provides real added value thanks to its expertise in automotive software solutions and systems.
