ACTIA Systems is committed to supporting children with Down syndrome

ACTIA Systems, the Spanish subsidiary of the ACTIA Group, is embarking on a new initiative with the Créality Foundation. Last year, ACTIA Systems donated one euro to the Créality Foundation for each Guide microphone sold to the Créality Foundation, totalling an amount of €8,250.
The Spanish subsidiary is pursuing its community initiatives with a company volunteer project. Ten of its employees are devoting a part of their working time to carry out support activities with trained dogs in a school for children with Down Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 21.
ACTIA employees will spend half a day taking part in the “A dog came to see me at school” program in a school for children with Down syndrome. This animal-assisted inclusive therapy, based on interactions with specially trained dogs, helps children develop their physical, social, cognitive and emotional capacities through contact with animals. This alternative therapy complements the conventional therapies used to treat the young patients.
