Aeronautics and Space: agile and certified industrial capacity

At EUROSATORY, ACTIA Aerospace is also highlighting its expertise in critical on-board electronic systems for the aeronautics and space markets:

• EMS and production in France of critical embedded electronic boards
• References to major manufacturers in the sector such as Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space or Thales

Membership of GIFAS and the Drones Pact: recognition and a strategic accelerator

The 2026 edition of EUROSATORY is of particular importance for ACTIA Aerospace. At the beginning of this year, the Aerospace division of the ACTIA Group joined two structuring ecosystems in defence and aeronautics: GIFAS and the Drone Pact.

GIFAS membership: integration into a structuring ecosystem of aeronautics and defence

A reference institution in the French aeronautics and space sector, GIFAS brings together major contractors, industrial partners and strategic technological players. ACTIA Aerospace’s membership recognises the solidity of its industrial positioning, its mastery of critical electronic systems and its ability to support demanding programmes over the long term, in France and abroad.

Pacte Drones: contributing to the development of a fast-growing technological ecosystem

At the same time, the integration into the Pacte Drones, a national initiative launched at the Eurosatory 2024 exhibition, marks a new step in the diversification strategy of the Aerospace division. This collective brings together more than 200 industrial, technological and scientific players around a common objective: to structure a sovereign, innovative and competitive French drone sector. By joining this pact, ACTIA Aerospace is part of a collective dynamic focused on industrialisation, the control of value chains and the development of robust on-board solutions, adapted to new uses.

These accessions strengthen ACTIA Aerospace’s legitimacy in the defence market, while opening up new opportunities for cooperation, contribution to the sector’s work and dialogue with institutional players.

Governance: appointment of Denis Mercier

Recently, the ACTIA Group appointed Denis Mercier as a director for a five-year term. He meets the criteria of an independent director as analyzed by the Board of Directors.

Former Chief of Staff of the French Air Force and NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation, Denis Mercier has very high-level strategic experience, acquired within complex organizations, operating in sensitive international and technological environments.

As part of the development strategy of the  Group’s Aerospace division, his expertise, strategic vision and in-depth knowledge of the defense ecosystem are key assets to support the Group’s orientations in terms of technological sovereignty, industrial resilience and international influence.
