In a context of rapid change in the aeronautics and space markets, ACTIA Aerospace is making a major industrial investment with the opening of a new site in Toulouse. This site, which will bring together all of the division’s Toulouse-based teams, will be fully operational by the end of the year and aims to sustainably strengthen the production capabilities of critical embedded electronic equipment. This momentum is also accompanied by a strengthening of teams and the recruitment of experienced professionals, with around fifteen positions planned to support the ramp-up of the site. More broadly, it is part of a deep transformation of industrial needs, driven by increasing equipment complexity, higher requirements in terms of reliability and traceability, as well as a shift towards more flexible production, often organised in small and medium series. In this context, ACTIA Aerospace is structuring an industrial setup capable of sustainably addressing these new expectations.
A complementary industrial tool to the Group’s historical capabilities
Historically, the ACTIA Group has relied on expertise rooted in the automotive sector, with production capabilities optimised for high-volume series. The development undertaken today complements this foundation by providing an industrial tool dedicated to aeronautics and space environments, specifically adapted to low- and medium-volume production with high product variety.
This complementarity between a high-volume production tool and a system dedicated to complex and diverse manufacturing now enables ACTIA Aerospace to cover a broader industrial scope, while maintaining a high level of requirements and quality.
A production environment suited to the most demanding applications
The new Toulouse-La Ramée site has been designed to integrate industrial resources aligned with these challenges. It is equipped with high-technology production and testing systems, as well as an industrial organisation ensuring repeatability, reliability and traceability in manufacturing. The entire setup is supported by a digital architecture ensuring data continuity across design, industrialisation and production.
Particular attention has also been given to the manufacturing environment. The site includes controlled production areas such as clean rooms, enabling it to meet the most stringent requirements, particularly in the traditional space sector. This setup provides the necessary conditions for producing ultra-reliable equipment in line with the most demanding industry standards.

Beyond its technical characteristics, this investment allows ACTIA Aerospace to significantly strengthen its industrial offering for its customers. It improves responsiveness during industrialisation phases, facilitates the management of complex and varied production runs, and helps secure manufacturing processes. In a context marked by increasing programme ramp-up and the need to optimise time-to-production, this development represents a significant performance lever.
This initiative is also accompanied by a strengthening of teams, with around fifteen recruitments planned to support the ramp-up of the site. The company is primarily looking for experienced profiles, both technicians and engineers, to work on concrete industrial activities: electronic board manufacturing and assembly, testing and validation, quality assurance, production support, and industrial information systems.
