On 5 December last, the City of Paris officially launched the Autolib self-service car share system with an initial 250 Bluecars. The ACTIA group played an important role in this projects success. In collaboration with partners such as Cirtem an engineering centre expert in power electronics or Leroy Somer, the worldwide specialist in permanent magnet motors, ACTIA was selected to design, develop and produce the entire electric power train. The partnership with Bolloré focussing on this vehicle also draws on other ACTIA know-how since the group has also developed a diagnostics tool to maintain these cars and an intelligent monitor used to control the vehicles operating functions and send the client data on location, travel time etc...
