The Mypirail association federates manufacturers in the Midi-Pyrénées representing the entire industry. Founded in August 2010, the Mipyrail association called major players from the regional economy to meet at a technology symposium in September on the topic "Innovation and the railway industry in Midi-Pyrénées". This association, to which the ACTIA group Automotive division and Telecommunications division belong represents more than 5;000 employees and mainly works towards developing the regional railway-related economy, enhancing the visibility of its members and their skills with regard to the authorities and operators, supporting innovative projects and partnerships amongst its members and centralising regional railway information.
